This 1955 Chevrolet 6500 flatbed pickup is said to have remained with the current owner and their family since 1995 and received a multi-year refurbishment completed in 2005 under their care. Work involved repairing various body panels, repainting the cab in light blue, and installing a replacement 350ci V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The truck rides on 20? steel wheels and is further equipped with a two-speed dually rear axle, an aluminum headache rack, a hydraulic liftgate, and a windshield visor as well as an exhaust system with short-tube headers, Flowmaster mufflers, and dual stacks. Inside, a black vinyl–trimmed bench seat is joined by a cab heater, a push-button digital radio, and a Datcon tachometer. This 6500 flatbed is now offered on dealer consignment with partial service records, and removable bed stakes.
